The Reverse Pack is born out of feedback from Nord keyboard players. For years, many of you have reached out about finding great-sounding reversed samples (samples that are played backward), and for years there weren’t great options out there. Until today.
The Reverse Pack has all the standard samples like reversed pianos and guitars, but we went deep on sampling and combined reversed orchestral elements, stringed instruments, and strikes from a variety of sound sources to get your creative juices flowing.
The Process
• We sampled all kinds of different strikes, hits, and rise sounds, and began reversing them to see what worked.
• We time-stretched them to create unpredictable (and musical) timing throughout the samples, then mapped them for Nord keyboards.
• After the usual weeding out of samples that weren’t interesting enough, we released our baby into the wild to reverse to it’s heart’s content.

The Reverse Sample Pack runs great as a standalone pack (meaning you can load it into your Nord keyboard and instantly access the sounds), but it’s also easy to merge the samples with your pre-existing program files. Just remember to click the “save” button when you’re done.
